Title: Is Hospital at Home the Future?: Opportunity, Challenges and Policy Concerns

Description:

While Covid has left roughly 1/2 million Americans dead, the pandemic has catalyzed new thinking around care delivery. One of the most promising options is the opportunity for a sustainable business model that allows care for patients at home rather than in a hospital setting. The recent CMS waiver has made what seemed impossible a short time ago a reality for a growing number of healthcare systems. Speakers will discuss the rationale for H@H, some of the technical challenges as well as the current policy debate surrounding the solution for an innovative way to care for each other.
